About Me
Biography
I am a highly active and respected leader within the global Wikimedia movement, driven by a passion for open knowledge and community empowerment. My journey has led me to take on several key roles, including serving as a Wikimedia steward, and an administrator on major projects like Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikivoyage.
As the Founder and (co)lead of Bangla WikiConnect, I focus on connecting and supporting Bangla-speaking Wikimedia contributors. Locally, I serve as the Chief Coordinator for the Dhaka Wikimedia Community, organizing outreach programs, edit-a-thons, and capacity-building initiatives. I am currently serving as a Young Professional – Program Support intern at Wikimedia Bangladesh, contributing to program planning, coordination, and community engagement at the national level.
Academically, I hold a bachelor degree in Mathematics and am currently expanding my expertise by pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Information Technology from the prestigious Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

My mission is to bridge knowledge gaps and ensure digital platforms are inclusive, representative, and rooted in the principles of open knowledge. I am committed to advocating for underrepresented communities within the Wikimedia ecosystem, fostering collaboration, and building sustainable, freely accessible knowledge resources that empower everyone and contribute to a more equitable world.

Bangla Wikivoyage Article Writing Contests
Organized large-scale article writing contests on Bangla Wikivoyage in 2024 and September 2025 (marking International Tourism Day), significantly enhancing the project’s quality and elevating it to an extraordinary level.
Sysop & Steward
Serving as a steward for global Wikimedia and an administrator (sysop) on Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikivoyage to ensure project integrity.
Events & Engagements
Wikimania 2025 – Nairobi, Kenya
Attended the flagship global Wikimedia conference on a full scholarship to represent my community, share insights, and collaborate with Wikimedians worldwide. Also served as a member of the Scholarship Working Committee, helping review and select participants from across the globe.
Bangla WikiConference 2024 – Gazipur, Bangladesh
Participated in the international conference bringing together Bangla-speaking Wikimedia contributors from across the globe. Served as Communications Manager and Operations Team member, playing a key role in event coordination and outreach.
Wikimania Bangladesh 2022 – Dhaka, Bangladesh
Served as a Core Organizing Team member for the national Wikimania celebration, attended by Wikimedia contributors from across Bangladesh.
